The OASIS Group helps co-create strategies in partnership with organizations and networks to increase their capacity to prepare and equip students towards successful STEMM careers. We also address the challenge of ensuring equitable access to STEMM opportunities for all groups, especially those that are underrepresented.
The U.S. faces a growing shortage of STEMM talent, threatening innovation across key industries that are vital to the country’s economy, security, and even survival. Demand is outpacing supply, especially as national challenges require STEMM-based solutions. Expanding access and diversity is crucial to closing the gap.
While many STEMM initiatives have been launched since the 1970s, efforts remain fragmented and uncoordinated. And yet, the demand for STEMM professionals far exceeds the supply. A unified national approach is needed to strengthen organizations, foster collaborations, and create lasting systemic change.
